A doctor by profession, I switched my career path because I felt that bureaucracy can cure the diseases of the society by serving people in their earnest. I’ve spent the past few years serving as a lecturer at a medical university. This time spent as a lecturer and my own preparation for CSS exam made me realize the pivotal role that assessment and feedback from teachers play in the progress of a student. My approach towards CSS preparation focused on smart work instead of hard work. This approach coupled with regular feedback and assessment from a teacher or a mentor can definitely ensure success in this journey.
