Achievements
I completed my O and A levels from the British School of Bahrain with 6 A*s and 3 As in O levels and 2 A*s and 1 A in A levels including an A* in Accounting. I wanted to pursue a career in Accounting and Finance which is why, I started ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and then completed my Bachelors of Science with First Class Honours in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University. My exceptional results in high school enabled me to achieve a scholarship for further education. During ACCA, out of a total of 13 exams, I was named a top achiever for 3 exams, highest scorer in the country for 4 exams, highest scorer in the middle east for 3 exams and the highest mark in the world for the exam of Financial Management with 96%. After my ACCA, I started working in the corporate sector as a financial accountant at Chuub Insurance Bahrain, however, I soon started missing my academic years and realized my passion for teaching where, I could impart my knowledge to others as well as continue to learn about the evolving field of accounting and finance. Therefore, I joined Paper Academy, based in Canada, where I started teaching as an online Accounting and Mathematics tutor. I am now delighted to be a part of this great platform, Valeem, and excited to teach O and A level accounting to hardworking and dedicated individuals. My rule of teaching is to always get down to the basics and ensure that each student has strong understanding of the foundational concepts of accounting. As a result, learning the more difficult attributes of the course becomes much easier and enjoyable. With a very strong background in accounting and an in-depth knowledge of the field, I can ensure effective and efficient learning in all aspects of the O and A level accounting courses.Base
