Cambridge O Level Urdu aims to develop learners who:

• Communicate accurately, appropriately, and effectively in writing
• Understand and respond appropriately to what they read

• Possess skills in a more general application (e.g. analysis, synthesis, drawing of inferences)

Cambridge O-Level Urdu Ms-Rahima-Shoaib (3247)  is designed for learners whose first language is Urdu. This syllabus develops learners’ ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively. They learn how to employ a wide-ranging vocabulary, use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and develop a personal style.

Learners are also encouraged to read widely, for their own enjoyment and to develop an appreciation of how writers achieve their effects. The syllabus also complements other areas of study by encouraging skills of more general application.

Candidates should be able to:
1. Understands as well as conveys information
2. Understand, order, and present facts, ideas, and opinions
3. Evaluates information and select what is relevant to specific purposes
4. Recognises implicit meanings and attitudes.

5. Present relevant facts, ideas, and opinions in an engaging manner and using appropriate detail

8. Order, develop, and link facts, ideas, opinions, and arguments
9. Exercise control of a range of appropriate grammatical structures
