Fundraising Success of Valeem was celebrated on 14th January 2023 with the entire Valeem Family and IBA CED. Last December Valeem secured a pre seed funding from an angel US based investor at a company valuation of 7 figures.
Introductory Remarks
The session started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by National anthem. During her welcome speech Ms. Lalarukh ( Director Aman CED) shared how CED has been providing support to its incubatees. She further congratulated Valeem on its success.
Session by the Co-Founders
Mr. Ali Rehan, Co-founder Valeem shared the company’s vision, it’s objectives and the future prospects of education and technology. Since the last few years there has been an increasing acceptance of technology in Pakistan. Therefore everyone is looking for technology driven solutions. Valeem has made it possible for both teachers and students.
Since Valeem’s vision is to make education affordable and accessible. Therefore Valeem has introduced a program “Valeem securing futures”  to provide quality and affordable education to all Pakistani Students
Mr. Rehan also highlighted how the pre seed funding will help in increasing employment opportunities for Pakistani teachers. It will also enable students to learn from the comfort of their homes
Mr. Muhammad Ghayas, Co-founder Valeem shared the inspiring journey of Valeem. Valeem started from scratch with bootstrapping from the co-founders. They gradually picked up and are now offering services to 14 countries across the globe.
Appreciation for the Teachers
Mr. Ghayas emphasized on the important role the teachers at Valeem have played in growing and achieving together as a family. The Co-Founders distributed awards and certificates to the distinguished teachers from 2022 as a token of appreciation.
Networking Session
A networking session was carried out during refreshments. Valeem team, teachers and IBA CED members got the chance to engage with each other. They exchanged ideas queries, discussed their queries and concern. Above all meaningful connections were made.
